A workaholic by nature, upon retirement, Rita Moreau began work on her bucket list -- at the top of her list was writing a book.
Traveling the national parks with her husband George in a vintage Blue Bird motor home, (on George’s list), Rita completed her first novel Bribing Saint Anthony - the first in what was to become the Mary Catherine Mahoney mystery series.
Back home she completed Nuns! Psychics! & Gypsies! OH! NO, Feisty Nuns and The House on Xenia -- plus a novella, The Russian & Aunt Sophia. READ MORE.
In 2020 -- finding herself with plenty of time -- Rita started a new series: the Ghost & Camper Kooky Mysteries. She has released three books and is working on the fourth.
Life is interesting....and writing is truly one of the joys of life...books are not shadows...they stay forever...floating out there on the Amazon....and I just hope that one of my books will float by someone and get picked up and be enjoyed. That is what all this writing is about...
It was so much fun to provide gift baskets and door prizes for the Indian Shores Women's Club to raise funds for the community. Thanks to everyone--it was lots of fun!
When not writing or helping people stay fit by teaching SilverSneaker fitness classes, I spend my time marketing my books and helping other authors with their promotions by doing BookBuzz reviews for JOY ON PAPER, a syndicated radio program for writers and those who dream of writing.
Here I am at the Indian Rocks Beach Library with my pal, Carol J Perry, helping to promote High Spirits--Book #2 in her Haunted Haven mystery series. Book #1 was Be My Ghost--which received a Publisher's Weekly starred review.
